Farmchem, a leading agricultural inputs importer and supplier in Kenya, with a focus on East African market expansion and providing innovative farming solutions to farmers is seeking a qualified, dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Finance Manager.
Candidate’s Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. MBA/Masters an added advantage
- Must be a CPA (K) holder or ACCA finalist
- 5-10 year post qualification commercial track record in a medium sized business with hands on working knowledge of ERP systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure clarity of business KPIs and challenge the finance team
- Drive strategy supporting financial rationale for new investments and marketing initiatives
- Production of group accounts, annual budgets and 3 year strategic business plans
- Ensuring the integrity of consolidation and provide insightful analysis/commentary
- Critically reviewing/applying/enforcing financial processes and controls
- Liaising with auditors and key stakeholders across the business
- Producing ad hoc, high quality management information
- Undertaking strategic project work where necessary
Desired Skills and Ability
- You will be an experienced manager used to leading a performing team
- Demonstrate sound commercial finance experience and current technical accounting knowledge
- Proven administrative, leadership and management ability in the areas of strategic planning and organizational development
- Possess the ability to work on own initiative, prioritize work, handle pressure and take day-to-day decisions on the running.
