GTZ Health Programme Third Party Administrator Call for Expressions of Interest

The GTZ Health Programme is seeking qualified organizations to submit an Expression of Interest.
Project Description:
The GTZ Health Sector Programme through complementary funding from DFID is supporting the Government of Kenya (GoK) in implementation of the Health for All Kenyans through Innovations (HAKI) project. The HAKI project is a pilot implementation of the GoK’s Health Financing and Policy Strategy and will test two approaches to increased healthcare access for the poor: 1) social health insurance, and 2) removal of user fees.
Assignment Description:
The selected organization will serve as the Third Party Administrator for the social health insurance (Kericho District) and removal of user fees (District TBD) pilots.
Key activities will include:
  • Consultation with HAKI project team in development of pilot design
  • On-going coordination with key national and district-level stakeholders
  • Mapping and accreditation of facilities
  • Enrolment of beneficiaries
  • Provider training
  • Claims management
  • Monitoring and evaluation
Submission Requirements:
Interested organizations should submit a brief statement indicating their qualifications to complete the assignment. Please note that only firms registered in Kenya may apply.
