DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Human resources planning
- Implementation and monitoring of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with group policies and making recommendations for revisions
- Implementation, facilitation and monitoring of performance management
- Human resources development, including competency development, facilitation of career development, succession planning and design and implementation of the training plan
- Implementation of the company’s recruitment plan, selection, placement and Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits and undertaking regular salary reviews
- Benefits administration
- Monitoring and taking measures to improves Employee Satisfaction
- Disengagement management
- Providing and evaluating management information to guide decisions.
- Deal with resolution of employment disputes
- Mentorship & coaching of Human Resources Practitioners.
- Development and management of Human Resource staff
- Management of HR budget
- Involvement in ad hoc HR Initiatives.
- Contributing to thought leadership amongst HR practitioners in the Group
The role holder is required to liaise with Group Human Resources on the following areas:
- Implementation of HR Strategy
- Implementation of HR Policies & Procedures
- Annual HR Plans including Staff Head Count
- Groupwide Leadership Development programmes
- Employee Satisfaction Survey
- Annual salary reviews
- HR Audits
- Any other Groupwide HR Initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION
· An honours undergraduate degree
· A post graduate Human Resources Management qualification

EXPERIENCE
· The candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a similar or related role
· Must have atleast 2 years of Experience in a Professional Service Oriented Organisation
Candidates experienced in Professional services, e.g. a law firm will be highly considered.
Salary:
A salary for the above position from Kshs 100,000 to 150,000 depending on experience and qualifications
