DEMOCRACY & GOVERNANCE SPECIALISTS, SUDAN

Tetra Tech ARD, (http://www.ardinc.com/) seeks highly qualified Democracy & Governance specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded project to strengthen governance in southern Sudan. The objective of this potential project is to develop more effective and accountable governance, improve management capacity, effectiveness and accountability of the Government of Southern Sudan.

Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for the following positions:
--Senior Strategic Planning Advisor
--Strategic Communications Advisor
--Civil/Public Administration Development Advisor
--Training Advisor/Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor

Qualifications Include:
--Advanced degree in international development, public administration, law, communications, or other relevant field;
--Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience; USAID or other donor-funded project experience preferred;
--Experience in and knowledge of southern Sudan or similar nascent environment;
--Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic and local dialects highly desirable;
--Demonstrated experience working closely with and supporting governments in post-conflict or state-building conditions;
--Sudanese nationals and Sudanese Diaspora encouraged to apply.
