We are a group of companies that owns and operates three restaurants in Nairobi, with two additional restaurants planned to open in 2011.
We are seeking to expand our finance and administration team by recruiting suitable candidates for the following positions:
Chief Accountant (Ref Feb2011/01)
Requires 3 years relevant experience in an accounts office preferably in the hospitality industry, managerial skills and an Accounting Degree/ CPA Finalist or equivalent qualification. Working experience with an accounting computer package is also essential.
The position reports to the Finance and Administration Manager and is mainly responsible for preparation of management accounts, payroll processing and preparation of credit card reconciliations.
Accountant (Ref Feb2011/02)
Requires 1 year relevant experience in an accounts office preferably in the hospitality industry, CPA part II or equivalent qualification. Working experience with an accounting computer package is also essential.
The position reports to the Chief Accountant and is mainly responsible for cheque payments to suppliers, processing VAT, NHIF, NSSF and Catering Levy payments and preparation of supplier and bank reconciliations. The position also assists with the operations of the Central Stores including preparation of LPOs, GRNs, Store Issue Notes and Requisitions, stock counts and updating the accounting system with stock count results.
Human Resources and Administration Manager (Ref Feb2011/03)
Requires 2 years relevant experience, a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification.
The position reports to the Finance and Administration Manager and is mainly responsible for recruitment, employee records management, ensuring compliance with all labour laws, procurement of office suppliers, management of company vehicles and document handling/ archiving for all company records.
