OFFICE RELOCATION PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Nairobi
Level: C1 National
Contract: 9 Months –Fixed term
Oxfam GB in the Horn, East and Central Africa region (HECA) work in 10 countries including North/South Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. We are working in contexts of ongoing severe conflict, drought and floods characterised by large operational programmes.
The Role
We are looking to recruit an Office Relocation Project Manager who will manage and deliver Oxfam GB and Oxfam Novib office move and refurbishment project . He/She will review, update the project plan and implement the project from agreeing the scope of works, to opening the new office. The office Relocation Project manager will plan and facilitate the actual moving of internal personnel, workstation and team possessions and equipment
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will have significant demonstrable experience in hands on project management. You will have sound working knowledge of office planning and fit-out, power and data cabling, cost control and programme management. Ability to coordinate and communicate between skilled specialist suppliers: IT, telecoms, fit-out contractors and internal specialist departments is essential.
Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels within the company, both written and verbal is highly desirable
