The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi (AKUH,N), invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following position:
Director, Operations
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, (COO, AKUH,N), the Director, Operations, will support the management of clinical departments for example, Radiology, Pharmacy and Rehabilitation Services.
S/he will work with the COO, AKUH,N, in improving core processes and systems and in ensuring that all operational Hospital initiatives are financially sustainable while providing service excellence and cost-effective quality care.
In addition, the incumbent will oversee and direct all operational aspects of the Diagnostic Imaging Centres. As a member of the senior management team of AKUH,N, s/he will also participate in the strategic planning process of the Institution.
Applicants should have a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent in Business Administration or Finance. S/he should have ten or more years experience in senior positions in healthcare institutions or health systems management.
