Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Arusha
Purpose of the position:
To provide effective and efficient fleet management for all WVT vehicles and motorcycles
Ensure that all vehicles and motorcycles insurance and legal documents are timely obtained
To ensure that motorcycles and vehicles are properly serviced/maintained
To ensure efficient use of fuel
Ensure that accident reports and insurance claims are timely prepared and submitted
Facilitate efficient vehicle allocation for all Head office planned activities
Analyze vehicle operations and maintenance reports and advise management on inherent risk on monthly and quarterly basis To undertake Coaching For Performance (CFP) to all Drivers at head office to enhance performance and accountability
Provide technical Support in recruitment of drivers
Conduct supportive monitoring visit to zones for drivers' capacity building
Facilitate availability of working gears for drivers
Support drivers to observe the set vehicle policy and procedures
Qualifications:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Transport and Logistics from recognized or accredited University/College with at least two years experience in related field
Computer skills
Experience in fleet management
Knowledge of transport logistics and vehicle mechanics Valid driving license class C
