Nairobi Bottlers Ltd Supply Planning Manager Vacancy in Kenya


Position Purpose:The main purpose of this role is to ensure effective implementation and improvement of the Supply Planning Process including Capacity and Raw Materials Planning & Stores Management as well leadership of the Planning Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Country Planning and Continuous Improvement Manager, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be;
  1. Develop tactical supply plans based on the overall Group strategy to effectively monitor and drive performance improvements.
  2. Determine optimal inventory policies for own and outside manufactured goods and guidance on raw materials stock levels to ensure compliance to working capital targets.
  3. Compile and optimize Medium & Long Term capacity plans for own manufactured goods
  4. Ensure compliance to SAP Model by maintaining a disciplined , process driven approach to planning.
  5. Provide leadership to the Supply and Raw materials planning teams and build capability.
  6. Budget management and analysis of Planning Cost Centers.
  7. Drive the S&OP process , measure and report KPI’s and drive corrective actions as per S&OP Dashboard.
Selection Criteria

The ideal candidate will have the following;
  • 1st Degree in Supply Chain or Technical field – MBA will be an added advantage.
  • 4-5 years minimum in Manufacturing or FMCG planning background.
  • Sound business acumen with extensive knowledge in planning
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel
  • Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to think strategically
  • SAP super -user skills will be an advantage
