eKitabu lets you discover, purchase and read ebooks on any PC or Android mobile device. We will start selling 100,000s of ebook titles on www.ekitabu.com and through our Android App starting in the Summer of 2012.
eKitabu is a for-profit spin out of Digital Divide Data, an internationally acclaimed social enterprise with offices in Nairobi, New York, Cambodia and Laos.

Partnership Manager – Role & Responsibilities

eKitabu’s Partnership Manager is responsible for implementing and managing our partnerships with publishers and retailers in Kenya.
Specifically, the Partnership Manager is Responsible for:
-          Implementing all aspects of bringing a new publisher or retail partner on board, including content, specifications, promotions and merchandizing.
-          managing physical and virtual launch events with partners including logistics, press coverage and representing eKitabu events
-          merchandising content on eKitabu.com and partners sites Kenyan publishers, International publishers and distributors to merchandize titles on ekitabu.com and partner sites. This includes being aware of upcoming book launches, promotions and other opportunities to connect eKitabu readers with content they love.
-          Implement and tack the performance of cross-platform marketing campaigns with vendors and partners.
-          In partnership with the sales team, help to develop new content providers across a wide range of media – books, magazines, news, academics and NGOs


Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred
At least 10 years work experience in a client-facing role in product marketing, sales or project management.
Experience managing the complete life-cycle of a product launch or marketing campaign.
Experience in publishing, music or related media field preferred.
Ability to work with a frequently traveling, international team a must.
