1) Introduction to GSM
- Evolution of GSM
- GSM Network Components and their Functionality
- GSM: The Radio Interface
2) The future of mobile telecommunications
- History of Wireless Communications
- Second Generation Cellular Systems
- Advanced Wireless Technologies: 4G and Beyond
- WiMAX and Wi-Fi
- Proprietary Broadband Wireless Technologies
3) Radio Frequency basics and principles
Qualifications
Qualifications
- At least a BS in Electronics or related degree
- Experience in training on the above mentioned areas
- Knowledge of GSM and GPRS networks and product, theory of operation and traffic engineering
- Knowledge of radio and wireless technologies
