ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT VACANCY.


 

The Company: 
We are a Kenyan company providing promotional products and corporate communication materials to the East African market.  Our vision is to become the undisputed leader in our industry. We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our growing and dynamic team. 
Major duties and responsibilities: 
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to assisting the General Manager - Finance as follows:
* Petty Cash management.
* Timely invoicing of clients.
* Raising of Local Purchase Orders.
* Follow up on due debts and ensuring debtors balances are correct.
* Ensuring that all the banking needs of the company are timely met.
* Creditors reconciliation and making payments as per approved balances.
* Updating the fixed assets register and ensuring safety of company`s assets.
* Submission of Statutory returns on a timely basis.
* Any other duties as directed by the superiors. 
Education and Qualification Requirements: 
MUST have a minimum of ACCA/CPA 2 from a reputable college and should possess a good command of both spoken and written English. Must be computer literate and able use web-based resources. 
The Person: 
The Company seeks well-groomed, cultured and pleasant person who is self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable, flexible with excellent time management and organizational skills. The person must be able to work in a small close-knit company environment. Good interpersonal skills, respect for company regulations and team spirit are mandatory. 
Experience:
Should have more than 1 years continued experience in Accounts/ Finance related field. Working experience in an advertising/printing environment will be an added advantage. 
Remuneration:  Nett Kshs 18,000.00 
Duty station: Nairobi
