ICT Vacancies at Kimberly Ryan

Our client is a branded multinational Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) firm providing solutions to businesses through consulting, training, manufacturing and sales of ICT related services and products. Due to an increased scope and need for its services across all sectors of economy in East and Central Africa region, the company seeks to recruit passionate individuals for the following positions:
 
  1. Sales Specialist – Power and Storage Kenya
 
   Job Purpose:
    This position plays the role of a Solutions Representative - Brand Specialist and is responsible for developing specific Brand/product solutions that address client's business needs (both industry and business) and delivers client value while supporting brand specific business strategies. 
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing specific Brand/product solutions that address client's
    business needs (both industry and business) and delivering client value while
    supporting brand specific business strategies.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of Business organizations in these accounts.
  • Thoroughly understanding the client's business, including their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, and business issues.
  • Creating solutions which are tailored to client's business needs and integrating the brand capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the
    competition.
  • Acquiring critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client when necessary while understanding and applying the business’ strategies and offerings for the specific assigned brand.
  • Promoting specific brand capabilities to develop a winning solution which addresses the client's unique business needs.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the client's industry and how the
    client's business fits within it.
  • Ensuring that the solution design and delivery team has considered the appropriate methods and models in the customer solution.
 
 To be considered for this position, one must; 
  • Have a relevant technical diploma, An Associate’s Degree/College Diploma will be preferred and an added advantage.
  • Have at least 5 years experience in Sales of Power and Storage ICT products
  • Have practical exposure to undertaking sales through sales presentations and calling of C-Level customers
  • Have sales experience and understanding of the East Africa market and specifically the competitor ICT business solutions technologies
    • Possess fluency in English
 
 
 
2. IT Specialist- Kenya
      Job Purpose
    The IT Specialist – Kenya is responsible for performing problem determination and problem source identification in software environments.
      Key Responsibilities
    • The job holder will be expected to carry out problem analysis, evaluation, recreation, and resolution of customer reported problems
    • They should also know the use of relevant problem management systems to
      search for known problems and to create new entries/update existing entries
    • The candidate will be required to offer advice and guidance to customers regarding the use of software
    • The use of the organization’s technical resources and tools to answer customer questions and respond to customers requirements.
    To be considered for this position, one must; 
    • Have Associate’s Degree/College Diploma
    • Have basic knowledge in Support on Websphere preferably with at least 6 months experience
    • Have at least 2 years experience in Implementation and Technical Administration
      on AIX 5.3 upwards and in AIX Software and Storage System Support
    • Have a Certification in AIX
    • Possess fluency in English
      Additional Requirements:
    • Good listening skills and the ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions
    • Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization and demonstrate teamwork.
    • Ability to consistently demonstrate tact, courtesy, reliability, and maturity while carrying out assigned duties.
    • Responsible and accountable for all actions.
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to perform well under stress and be able to cope with short/tight deadlines.
 
 
 
  1. IT Specialist:

  • Have at least 6 months experience in Customer Relationship and Support is set ups that require exceptional communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Have Certification in Information Technology
  • Have fluency in English
 
    The job holder should also possess the following competencies:

4.  Business Development Executive (GBS Lead) - Kenya
      Job Purpose: 
    The holder of this role is responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of cross-IGS services business opportunities with key accounts, selected based on proactive market screening, targeting, and business analysis.
      Key Responsibilities:
    Reporting to the Business Development Manager and with contract signing performance as the primary measurement, the holder of this position will be expected to:
    • Develop extensive executive and senior management relationships in client organizations
    • Identify and develop the most attractive opportunities (especially sole-source deals) for potential engagement
    • Collaboratively work with other teams and with other partners and outside consultants as appropriate
    • Be responsible for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities and
      recommend whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities.
    • Own the opportunity until formal sales engagement and
      facilitate the transition to an engagement team, and remain involved during
      the engagement phase, as appropriate.
 
    To be considered for this position, one must; 
    • Have relevant Associate's Degree/College Diploma –a Bachelor’s Degree would be an added advantage
    • At least 5 years experience in Business Development/Sales and Marketing preferably in ICT products and services
    • Fluent in English
 
    The successful job applicant will also be expected to:
    • Posses a valid Kenyan Passport
    • Possess local knowledge and language that will enable them build capacity in Eastern African region
    • Have senior, experienced resource to lead business.
 
 
    5.  Business Partner Software Sales Manager: Job Purpose:
    This position plays the role of a Solutions Representative - Brand Specialist and is responsible for developing specific Brand/product specific solutions that address client's business needs (both industry and business) and delivers client value while supporting brand specific business strategies.
      Key responsibilities:
    • Maintaining strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of
      business organizations in these accounts.
    • Thoroughly understanding the client's business, including their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, and business issues.
    • Creating solutions which are tailored to client's business needs and integrates the brand capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the
      competition.
    • When necessary, understanding and navigating the brand to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client.
    • Thoroughly understanding and applying the brand strategies and offerings for the specific assigned brand.
    • Promoting specific brand capabilities to develop a winning solution which addresses the client's unique business needs.
    • Maintaining an understanding of the client's industry and how the client's business fits within it.
    • Understanding brand/product capabilities in order to develop winning solutions that deliver client value propositions, are tailored to the client's specific business needs and are superior to the competition.
    • Understanding and applying brand management's methods and models used in the solution and can articulate their value to the client.
    • Ensures that the solution design and delivery team has considered the appropriate
      methods and models in the customer solution.

    • Have at least 4 years experience in managing, recruiting and growing the Software business and pipeline through business partners
