 Pastry ChefWith the Executive Chef, plan appropriate desserts for all the menus.
    
     Create new recipes and conduct testing and evaluation of new pastry and dessert recipes.
    
     Order supplies from various vendors and, in some cases, go directly to growers for the freshest possible fruits and berries.
    
     Prepare budgets for the pastry department in conjunction with the Executive Chef.
    
     Supervise the apprentices and chefs in training within the pastry kitchen.
    
     Provide training on pastry and dessert making.
    
     Achieve the food margins required.
   Qualification:
Aged between 30 to 40 years.
    
     Passionate and creative – Natural artistic talent important.
    
     Utalii training or equivalent.
    
     Minimum five years experience in a 4/5 star establishment

Up to date with culinary art trends.
