Solutions Representative –Angola

Our client is a branded multinational Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) firm providing solutions to businesses through consulting, training, manufacturing and sales of ICT related services and products. Due to an increased scope and need for its services across all sectors of economy in East and Central Africa region, the company seeks to recruit passionate individuals for the following positions:
 
 
Solutions Representative –Angola
      Job Purpose
    The Solution Representative is responsible for the ongoing identification, development and assessment of cross-IGS services business opportunities with key accounts, selected based on proactive market screening, targeting and business analysis.
      Key Responsibilities:
    • Developing extensive executive and senior management relationships in client organizations.
    • Identifying and developing the most attractive opportunities (especially sole-source deals) for potential engagement.
    • Working collaboratively with other teams across the company and with other partners and outside consultants as appropriate
    • Bearing responsibility for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities and recommend whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities to other groups.
    • Owning and naturing any opportunity until formal sales engagement and facilitate the transition to an engagement team, and remain involved during the engagement phase, as appropriate.
    • Reporting to a Business Development Manager with such primary result areas as contract Signings performance; business development metric such as, pipeline of well-qualified business.
      To be considered for this position, one must; 
    • Have a Technical Diploma /GED
    • Have at least 5 years experience in Business Development/Sales and Marketing, preferably in high capital fast changing technology products with corporate target clientele
    • Fluent in English and Portuguese
