The Emergency Program Manager will lead and manage emergency response activities including the undertaking comprehensive assessments and development of the emergency response program. The Emergency Program Manager is responsible for identifying needs and resources and elaborating programme recommendations for the emergency response in line with Save the Children national and global priorities, and can expect to lead the start up of a number of new programmes. When not leading emergency response activities the Emergency Program Manager will be expected to lead on situational analysis, preparedness and contingency planning, capacity building in emergency preparedness and response, and filling critical staffing gaps in other programmes.
