FIELD ADMIN/HR OFFICER – Aweil South

IRC is seeking a qualified Sudanese national for following position:
 

Field Admin/HR Offices provides HR/Admin support to Field Manager – Aweil South and other managers within the field site to ensure that ensure that superior quality of HR/Administrative services are being provided to all staff.

Specific Duties:

  • Support manager in recruitment interviews for new staff and selection
  • Send all recruitment documentation (CV, RR, interview notes and reference checks) to Juba HR for sign-off and preparation of offer letter
  • Ensure that new staff are fully briefed on aspects of HR policy  and Administration
  • Ensure that evaluations are undertaken, a copy maintained on HR file and a copy sent to HR Juba
  • Make NSI payments following authorization from Finance (Juba)
  • Confirm final salary and gratuity payments to staff who are leaving and prepare payment request for final settlement
  • Act in an advisory capacity in the event of disciplinary issues arising, referring to HR Juba as necessary
  • Ensure that all performance evaluations are undertaken in a timely manner within the field site, and maintain a copy on the personnel files
  • Maintain a database of all staff employed in the field
  • Prepare HR reports to be submitted to HR (Juba) every month and act on feedback
  • Prepare, Oversee and submit monthly payroll for the field site
  • Co-ordinate travel arrangements for all staff in the field
  • Ensure staff housing and offices are regularly maintained, PR raised and payments made in this regard in a timely manner
  • Supervise office and house security guards and cleaning staff;  dealing with any problems arising
 
Additional Requirements
  • University degree in Business / Public Administration or a closely related discipline
  • Fluency in English and Dinka with an excellent working knowledge of the other language.  Arabic would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience of working  in a similar role in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good communication and staff management skills
  • Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel spreadsheets; Outlook)
  • Excellent knowledge of Sudanese labor law
